LEGACY Physical Therapy LLC is owned and operated by Laura Berube, MPT. Laura has over 11 years experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of Orthopedic injuries, dysfunction, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 1997 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000, both from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
Laura has had extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy, primarily through courses offered by North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual ¸(NAIOMT). She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice Section and the Orthopedic Chapter. She has been a clinical instructor mentoring Physical Therapy students from area colleges.
Laura believes in providing holistic care to promote health and wellness. In addition to skilled manual therapy techniques, she incorporates medical exercise therapy principles with therapeutic yoga and pilates techniques to enhance recovery.
